January Activity

January Relief Society Activity Tuesday January 24th 6:30 pm.
We are planning an evening to sew aprons. Even if you don't know how!

We would like to know how many sisters already have fabric. How many sister have extra to share. How many sisters would need fabric to make one or two.  She would also like to know if you have a sewing machine that you could bring or would you need to share .  Please reply to  Christine Jones at  cjonesincanada@hotmail.com

To make one apron requires  : 50 cm of 3/4" elastic and 1 meter of heavier weight cotton or cotton blend .  sport cotton, twill, even cotton decorator fabric is suitable as long as it is washable.

We would like 2 or 3 aprons to be made for our church kitchen use so anyone that would love to sew but doesn't want one for home would be well appreciated too.

If you would like to join us but not interested in sewing aprons , please bring a project from home that you would like to work on.

This is a great opportunity to Socialize and build friendships while creating and enjoying a few warm refreshments.
